Pulse Polling
Continuous Real-Time Audience Polling
Let ARS bring sophisticated moment-to-moment audience response technology to your next live research event. Pulse ™ polling live audience response data and overlays it onto HD video of your stimulus presentation, giving you at-a-glance viewing of your message’s impact on the opinions of your viewing audience.
How Pulse Works
During the presentation of your live or taped audience presentation, participants use ARS wireless keypad or tablet technology to actively rate the presentation on a scale of up to 9 points, using whatever criteria you specify. For example, a trial research project could use Pulse to let simulated jurors rate a lawyer’s case presentation on how convincing their argument is.
A graphic representation of the second-by-second ratings is electronically overlaid on a recording of the presentation, for live viewing as well as video archiving and post-project viewing.
Pulse Features:
- Active mean line graph with color-keying of group and sub-group averages
- Dynamic histogram showing response distribution of the most recent sample
- “Who’s Pressing” list of respondents who last pressed a specific value
- “Non-Responders” list of respondents who have stopped responding
- Distribution report automates the division of the audience into discussion groups by demographics and responses to key survey questions
Applications of Pulse:
ARS Pulse polling can be used in any live or simulated presentation where audience reaction need to be measure continuously over time. It is ideal for: Trial Research and Jury Simulation; Political Focus Groups; Brand Message Testing; TV and Radio Advertising; and Role Play Training.
